💐Our Wedding Regrets & Successes!

Our Lemon8 Friends! I finally completed my wedding last weekend and wanted to share some wedding regrets and successes w yall!! 🎉🥳

There were so many praises for our wedding programme so I really wana share it with the brides and grooms to be!

1. ⏰START EARLY!

We started our wedding planning 1.5 years early but there’s always not enough time especially all the logistics etc that you need to coordinate at the last hour🤨🤨🤨

✅SUCCESS: more time to do alot of things

❌REGRETS: still not enough time!

2. DO ALOT OF RESEARCH ON YOUR VENDORS☺️

Cant emphasize that enough - Im glad my partner helped alot on this! We had alot of fun and great relationship with the vendors whom supported us.

Emcee: Linus from Masterpiece (he is a musician, emcee and wedding coordinator) - WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM, our guests loved him so much and he is really very helpful in planning our wedding.

✅SUCCESSES W ALL THE ABOVE VENDORS

lots of praises for my dresses and makeup, we had our photographer come back quickly with the pictures (aka next day!), the video done by our videographer also received alot of praise!! Photobooth we had alot of guests using and they loved it!

❌Regrets: WE DIDNT USE THE PHOTOBOOTH OURSELVES

3. SPOT THE DEALS/ BUY DURING SALES / TAOBAO - DONT GET PACKAGE DEALS (at least for me)

Bought alot of my items off online stores instead of buying from those local wedding shops - i can say for sure, buying on taobao was the best decision ever.

✅SUCCESS: cheap items!!! (See my screenshots!)

* Photobook printing - i did via app called Photobook! (spent $80 on it)

* TAOBAO my PWS faux bouquet on TAOBAO looks damn real

* TAOBAO my red umbrella and fan - very good quality

* TAOBAO groom boutonniere and Bridesmaid bracelets

* TAOBAO my XI decorations

* SHEIN for hair accessories

❌REGRETS:

* we didnt check the items we bought ended up i had 2 HIS vow cards.. so i had to buy more expensive ones locally

* the wedding bouquet i sourced (faux bouquet) didnt stick through well :(

4. Have your trusty helpers!! 👯👯👯

✅Rely on your trusted friends to assist you on the actual day! My bridesmaid and groomsmen have been a great help to help us run errands. It helps if you have a plan
