brown butter pumpkin bread recipe:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
15oz pure pumpkin puree
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 T brown butter
1/3 cup oil
1 T vanilla extract
1/4 - 1/2 tsp salt, adjust to taste
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 T baking soda
1-2 T pumpkin spice, adjust to taste
salted maple brown butter glaze:
2 T brown butter
4 T maple syrup
4 T powdered sugar
pinch of salt & 1 T vanilla extract
splash of milk
Bread:
β’Brown your butter and let it cool, measure out 2 T
β’Combine all of your wet ingredients together, ideally all ingredients should be around room temperature.
β’Sift all of your dry ingredients together over the wet ingredients.
β’Whisk everything together until combined but donβt overmix the batter or itβll be dry.
β’Prep baking tin with brown butter (genius isnβt it) before pouring batter into tray.
β’Bake in a preheated oven at 350f for ~40 to 45 mins. β’Check often around the 40 min mark by sticking a toothpick in and very little sticks to it.
Glaze:
β’Mix all ingredients together set aside.
β’β’Let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes and pour the glaze on while itβs still slightly warm, this will make sure it stays moist
