New Scents at Ulta!

Do I have a lot of perfume? Yes😌

Do I still run to Ulta to smell every new release? YES.

I had been hearing all about Burberry’s new scent, and let’s be honest: the bottle is stunning. So after my workout, I went to test it.

Let me tell you, it is now HIGH on my wishlist. There’s something about most vanillas on the market that give “play-dough” notes. When the vanilla is not grounded in something, it’s flat and childish (*cough cough*: AG Cloud & Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Milk).

Burberry Goddess drops just enough lavender & “spice” into this fragrance to make the vanilla pop, and adds in citrus & floral notes to make it a vanilla you can wear ALL YEAR.

Burberry Goddess is a 👏🏼grown👏🏼woman👏🏼scent and I need it ASAP.

On the other hand, D&G Light Blue was such a disappointment. I was dying over the bottle design but y’all…I sprayed each of the scents multiple times and couldn’t discern between the fragrance family. Did they put the same juice in different bottles?? Am I missing something??

I would buy a travel size of D&G Light Blue to take on summer vacations, but it is not versatile enough to wear in other seasons.
