You’ll Never Believe Where It Is!

If you would have told me that this museum is located in *oklahoma* and not Paris, I would not have believed you.

Quite literally 5 minutes outside of downtown, nestled in a very fancy community, is the Philbrook Museum.

🌷From the outside, it is stunning - flowering trees, sprawling grounds, amazing landscape. Many times there are coffee carts outside or areas where you can make your own bouquets out of flowers grown in their gardens.

🖼️ Inside is spectacular. On the left, there are special exhibits (for example: Rembrandt’s life work or Frida Kahlo’s life story), and in the right wing are all of the permanent pieces.

🖌️ There’s a whole section of Indigenous artwork, and most of the rest is in oil (my favorite medium).

The Philbrook also has a restaurant which has a lot of vegan options!

I find myself here many weekends, even just to have a picnic in the garden.

I am an art museum lover, and I never expected one of my favorites in the world to be in Oklahoma.
