&& START EXPLORING! 🤩🗺️

Tiong Bahru is known to be a place that’s filled with history as it is one of the oldest housing estate in Singapore! 🇸🇬

EXPLORING —————————

My friends and I wanted to go for a photowalk to take photos of Architectures and I immediately chose Tiong Bahru due to it’s unique shophouses & flats 🤩 The architecture there has a vintage touch that is different in other parts of Singapore where most buildings now are more modern.

We went there without preplanning on an exact route, highly recommend to just walk around the estate for an impromptu adventure where you can spot many beautiful and old architectures, wall arts, instagrammable shots which may stir some emotions when you reminisce the old times 🥹

LUNCH @ LITTLE ELEPHANT —————————

Although it’s one of the oldest housing estate in Singapore, there are many cafes and restaurants that we saw while exploring. We ate lunch at Little Elephant which is a Thai Restaurant 🇹🇭 The interior and exterior gave off an aesthetic vibe with vintage decorations. Not forgetting, there are also indoor and outdoor seating too 😌 My friends and I ordered the $9.90 lunch special which comes with a main and a drink. It was worth it as I was really full after the meal. Additionally, there are many main options to choose from such as pork basil rice, pad thai, glass noodles and many more! 🍴

I highly recommend to order the stir fried noodle with spicy drunken chicken if you enjoy spicy food, it was so flavourful although it just LOOKS like maggie mee from my first impression. If you don’t eat spicy food, the glass noodle can be THE ONE for you, it’s more on the peppery side and they were very generous with the chicken 🤘🏻

Little Elephant’s Address: 57 Eng Hoon St, #01 -72, Singapore 160057

I hope that you will head down to Tiong Bahru to explore another part of Singapore! 📍🗺️🤩❤️
