HERE ARE SOME TIPS BEFORE YOU HEAD DOWN! 👋🏻

Want to go down to Chatuchak market soon?

Here are some tips for you!

🚗 If you’re arriving by car, you can park at either the South Carpark (always packed though) but it’s the nearest to the market OR North Carpark (try to go park as far in — closer to Hao Mart side) so you’ll walk lesser!

🚌 If you’re coming by public transport, there’s a shuttle bus from Sixth Avenue to Grandstand! I heard the timings are quite unreliable though 🥲

⛅️ It has been raining ALOT lately so check the weather forecast before going as there is ZERO shelter. If not, you can bring an umbrella! However it can get real humid as well if it’s sunny so, YES do check the weather!

👞 If possible, wear shoes! The day I went had a slight drizzle so the roads were wet and you know what’ll happen if you wear slippers right :(

💰 Most stalls provide QR code so fret not if you do not have cash! You can still prepare some cash though as some drink stalls only accept cash as a form of payment — those w legit thai peeps!

⏰ GO DOWN AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. It’s so crowded at 5pm….. as you can see from my second photo! And go in a group so y’all can split the work of queuing & finding a table to sit & eat together!
