Where I get my hamster essentials <$12! 🐹

When I became a first time hamster owner, I thought the only place to get pet supplies are pet shops. Truth is, pet shops don’t always have quality items and they tend to be pricer!

Here’s where I get my hamster supplies for cheap 🐹:

1️⃣ Hamster Food Mix

This is my second purchase because my hamster really likes it! It comes with different seeds, veggies and proteins such as chicken, tofu and mealworms. It doesn’t contain any pellets. I find the ingredient list to be similar to Bunny Nature Expert!

2️⃣ Aspen Bedding

Aspen is one of the cheaper bedding options if paper bedding is too expensive for you. Ideally, you should try to have a mix of paper and aspen bedding. Paper bedding is also easier for hamsters to burrow. However, if you are on a tight budget, aspen bedding is a safe and affordable option!

3️⃣ Safe Sand

My personal favourite is Witte Molen as it clumps easily and is odour free which is good for your hamster. Price wise it is also comparable to mainstream brands but this is of better quality. You can purchase the 1kg repacked version to test out before committing to the full 3kg pack.
