How I Found Out 💝

Found out i was pregnant on Christmas morning (25/12/2023), best Christmas present ever hahah. By 25th December i've already missed my period for more than a month but i didn't want to take a test despite wondering if i'm pregnant when i missed it for 3 weeks, as my period was always irregular and i had a small surgery regarding period issue so i didn't had hopes to get pregnant, decided to ignore and wait longer till i take the test! My first symptoms was when my boobs and nips started getting very very swollen, girls would know that before period it does happen but this time its x3 painful and it lasted for quite awhile... which made me thought my period was coming soon but it didn't.

I had a christmas party with my clique on Christmas eve and the next morning when i woke up, i immediately went to the toilet and took the pregnancy test. Peed on the stick and the double line came out so so fast?? I was doubtful so i went to take another and test again and wow same thing happened... I started crying, tears of joy and went into the room to show my boyfriend whom was still sleeping HAHA i on the lights which were right above him and showed him the stick 😂 he was blinded by the lights but finally get it in a few seconds and gave me a big hug, and he was vvv happy about it!

We were not literally trying for a baby but because he is currently 33 years old, always wanted to be a father and dont wish to not have the energy to take care and play with the child if he start a family any later. Also, i've had period issues to the point i got admitted into hospital twice in a year, went a&e several times and did a small surgery and went in and out KKH seeing the gynae but for health issues reason and not because im pregnant... and i always thought i can't get pregnant because of all the issues i have despite doctor saying im still young dont worry. We both definitely want to be parents and are afraid that we won't be able to have our own child, so we did not literally try for a kid but if have then have, dont have jiu dont have kind. As there were alot of personal reasons why we didn't get married earlier but baby came at the perfect timing hahaha just when all our things are settled and really ready to settle down already, we received the best Christmas gift! 💝

Vvv excited for the next steps of this pregnancy journey, can't wait to see baby in Aug 2024! ✨
