New cat tree options for my Ragdoll🏡🫶

Experts say one way to make your cat happier is to invest in a cat tree.💕

On the second photo, you can see what he currently has. He loves it, he sleeps there all the time, watches outside.

He is a ragdoll so he is a big cat. And I was wondering if I should get a bigger one.

People say that an older cat might need something with more or larger platforms so it’s easier to climb up.

I was definitely thinking of getting a carpeted cat tree again. I think this is what often preferred, as the material is soft enough to curl up on but also good for scratching. But many feature a combination of materials to cover all the bases. I’ve also seen options that have a carpet-covered base and upper perch, rope-wrapped scratching posts, and a plush-lined hammock.

I’ve checked Chewy, Petsmart and Wayfair, Amazon. And I got a bigger one. But guess what? He didn’t like it at all.

I think it’s the best to stick with what they like. Cats love their routines and their place. So it’s better not to touch their comfort zone😇
