2. Not using heat protectant & limiting how often you use heat. I only put heat on my hair once a week. Also, high quality heat tools make a difference! Try to use heatless curlers.

3. Not brushing gently and start detangling from bottom.

4. Not getting a trim when you notice your ends splitting.

Try to do these 4 things if you want to avoid split ends. And once you have them there is no way to repair it so you need a haircut.
