harts salon review! 🎀👑

i recently coloured my hair and i’m so happy with how it turned out! was nervous but had a pleasant experience ☺️ went to a pretty popular salon (harts salon) so i had doubts about going/splurging, but they were having a 20% anniversary promo, and i had time to go through the no-wash period, so i decided to just do it. had been thinking about colouring my hair for a long time, and since i was reaching the successful completion of my internship, i decided to treat myself 😙

COLOUR + TREATMENT

i did colouring and triple treats treatment. This was my FIRST TIME COLOURING MY HAIR (the only thing i’ve ever done to it was a perm back in 2021) so it felt like a major Big Girl checkpoint. my stylist was Bell and she was really nice! she did a colour analysis on me and I found out that I had fair skin with cool tones. i told her i wanted a brown colour (boring right), and she recommended me some colours according to the results. i forgot the name of the one i chose… but it was no. 11 under the matte category.

the colouring process went smoothly. after the colour was painted in, my hair rested under cling wrap for 20 minutes before the next step, which was the triple treats treatment. this was done at the wash basin, and the lady who did it explained every step of the process and gave my head a good massage. she was rly polite and considerate too, asking if the water was too hot, etc. i had a relaxing time :>

the final step was to blowdry! she also styled my hair with a hair iron which is when the pic was taken. during the blowdrying, i saw the colour start to show and it was so cool. It was BROWN. i am honestly still amazed.

SERVICE

i expected the salon to be packed and chaotic but it was actually really quiet, which i was relieved about (prob because it was a Monday evening). The interior design had a white and light brown theme so the place looked clean and fresh, and the floors were spick and span. Before the appointment began, I was served some tea of my choosing and these delicious biscuits that actually tasted so good 🤤 (i finished them, and they replenished it!! i was delightfully surprised). As i was paying, she gave me a tube of hair mask to apply since my hair was dry!

PRICE

$251 total after promo🥶🥶🥶 though i’m really happy with my experience, i think i’ll go for cheaper options in the future.

Overall, i really love the colour!!! 🤎 feeling good about how I look. hope it raises my confidence 🥹👑
