More often than not, most food reviews you see are based on 1 time experience and their honest reviews of the place. However here, i can guarantee you that this food review is based on THREE TIMES EXPERIENCE , which is really a #mustgo. Not sponsored btw!!

I’m not the biggest fan of Chinese food, especially when it comes to those exotic food but this place offers a lot of regular yummy dishes so i would say it’s suitable for everyone - even if you don’t take spice! 🥵🥵

#OnlyInSG If you’re a westie, you’re in luck! 🍀 This restaurant is called A KITCHEN (signboard in Chinese) and is convincingly located at Vision Exchange. It’s apparently already very popular, especially on XHS, so don’t be shocked if you see long queues! I went on a Saturday at 6pm and we had to wait about 30-40 min to get a table! 🖊️ TIP: No booking allowed so best is, GO EARLY!!!

They sell a variety of Chinese dishes, like really A LOT OF CHOICES HAHAA Even as a picker eater, i was spoilt for choice LOL so every time i go i try to order smtg different

So far i’ve tried;

Honestly, everything is legit a 10/10 from me, not one dish is bad. However if i were to choose, i’ll definitely recommend trying one of their sauce with fish - Golden stock fish is my fave. It’s pretty much equivalent to tanyu (IMO) for a fraction of the price. The mala one however, i can assure you it’s actually not that spicy!!! 嘛 (numb) yes, but it’s not too unbearable for me, don’t be fooled by the amount of chili on top👀

If you’re a potato lover like me, there are a lot of potato options here for you to choose from😍😍

I tried the tin foil one and never turned back. The sauce literally slaps😍, and it’s only $8 (can be shared among 3/4 people 👌🏼👌🏼)

Lastly, i’m totally not a beer fan but my friend wanted to try the beer so why not? It’s perfect to pair with some spicy chinese food ✨ To my surprise, it’s actually super refreshing!! & it’s only $5 per bottle like UM HELLO??? It’s so cheap to me. I shared it w 2 of my other friends and it was just nice for us!!

Overall, i have ntg but praises for this place. The only issue is the crowd which leads to slow service at times :( But for the food, i say WORTH. Definitely do check this place out!!
