NOT YOUR TYPICAL OUTDOOR DATE IDEAS 👫🏻

Feeling like you need some vitamin D but don’t know what to do in Singapore? Well i’ve complied some activities i did that under the hot sun 🥵…. while still having fun!! Over the years, my boyfriend and I had our fair share of date ideas🤍 Although i hate the sg heat ><, we still try to have dates outside occasionally and i think these are the more interesting ones; #ThingsToDo #OnlyInSG

1. OUTDOOR PUZZLE HUNT

Explore Singapore but in a fun way!! 🤩 We chanced upon this company named Ransack that specialises in creating unique puzzle hunts all around sg!! We opt for the Marina Bay route which was super interactive as we had to use the pamphlet given and match it according to the real life locations to solve the puzzles! There are multiple stations and each station you manage to solve will help you in the grand finale! Imo, it was super hard for us 😅😅but maybe just us because the person said there’s ppl that manage to solve everything HAHHAH Anyway, pretty interesting experience bc i’ve never done something like this! 🧢

2. KAYAKING/WATER SPORTS

I didn’t had the chance to do this with my partner yet but i went once awhile ago with my friends! While the heat was INSANE, being near the water cooled us down and we had fun splashing each other LOL It was also good to clock some arm workout!!🏋️ There’s also other water sports like wakeboarding and waterbike if you’re up for the challenge :o

3. QIANHU FISH FARM

Not too sure about y’all but i rmb coming to this place with my parents when i was little!! I decided to relieve childhood and come here with my partner again as adults HAHAH It’s a fish farm that sells fishes and allow you to catch fishes to bring back home! We thought m it was easy but were clearly overly complacent bc this was HARD. My partner and i had a mini competition to see who can catch the most fishes and it was a really fun day xd

4. GOAT FARM

Relieve childhood part 2!!

We get to feed the goats and try goat milk here. Although it was a little smelly, it was quite fun feeding the goats hehe & it was here that i found out my boyfriend is scared to feed the goats LOL

5. ZOO/BIRD PARKS

Since we are on the topic of animals, why not head to the zoo too! Again, it’s part of childhood HAHAHA it was honestly really fun bc i forgotten what were the animals we had in the zoo already. We took funny photos and got to feed giraffe too!🦒Its actually quite big so it’s easily a full day date idea! There’s the newly opened bird park too but i have not checked it out yet~

6. WATER PARKS

This is the best place to cool down in the heat! I love water parks because there are so many things to do/ride. I’ve been to wild wild wet and adventure cove and both were fun in their own ways! However there are a lot tourist now so might have to accommodate some time to queue 😵‍💫😵‍💫 otherwise, there are other water parks in sg too! Definitely a good full day out idea 💦

7. LUGE RIDE

ok…. i went to the night one to avoid the sun but it’s still considered outdoors 🫣🫣 Anyway, another reason why i tried the night luge is because of the cool lights! the vibe is totally different from during the day. Theres, i think 4 different routes to choose and I competed with my partner again for the lols hehe

8. GOLFING

I go golfing once in a while as my dad golfs a lot! As my partner and i are beginners, we went to the range so it’s not so stressed. Here’s my dad teaching him how to swing the club as it was his first time HAHAHA but anyways this applies if you have a golf club! maybe can lend from friends/parents 😆

Well here you go! Some of the ideas here are not the cheapest but it’s okay to splurge once in a while for the fun 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️
