everything i got from taiwan 🌂🛍️

documenting everything i bought from taiwan 😊 didn’t really get much from this trip - just some small knick-knacks here and there. most of our luggage space went to food & souvenirs instead 😛

dropped by watsons quite frequently and left with four different types of masks. was actually looking for mybeautydiary but the price was quite similar to sg so i didn’t get it there. instead i chose brands that were running a “add 1ntd for second item” promo. left with two boxes from dr morita, and two from hada labo 😊 my mum and i tried the repairing one from both brands in taiwan and they were really hydrating and soothed our dry skin ☺️ pretty good buy! also got the sunscreen spray that saved our lives in taiwan’s heat. my parents are super lazy with sunscreen so this spray made it really convenient for them. it’s also easier for me to reapply on the go! way cheaper in taiwan than sg!

for fashion items, i got a pair of nb574s for my mum. she really like the wider front as it’s more comfortable for her. i hope she gets a lot of wears out of it though 🤡 i got padded top for myself from shop at raohe night market - the price was okay for the quality but only problem is the padding. it’s a little weird and doesn’t really stay in place. still looking for the ONE when it comes to this kind of cutting 😰 had to get a duffel bag for all the goodies that we’re bringing back and got lucky when adidas was running a promo for these bags! was told that this bag cost 1490ntd. but upon payment, it got discounted to 1192ntd!!!! massive steal ☺️ i like that it has a lot of compartments and the material makes it easy to maintain (can use wet tissue to wipe 😆)

i was told that taiwanese does umbrellas REALLY WELL. so this was on my must-buy list! was complaining to my mum that i spent almost $50SGD on two umbrellas and how it’s quite steep but found out from her that that’s the normal rate for umbrellas because a lot of work is put into making each piece 🤡 so ok no more complaints! the seller was so nice and patient with minimal hardselling. he just explain the different functions for each range and showed me the size differences one by one. i opted for the medium size and it’s big enough for me! it’s also SUPER light and easy to keep which is a MASSIVE plus for me because i’m damn lazy. and it’s automated so 🤭👌🏽👌🏽

the last thing i got were claw machine wins. there’s claw machines everywhere in taiwan and i got hooked… learnt my lesson to opt for machines with a guaranteed mechanism - after “investing” a certain amount, the machine has a sure win system to ensure that you get your gift. you can keep going until you catch something! do not want to know how much i spent on these little guys but it was…. worth it in some ways? 😖
