the drinks selection is driving me insane… 🤤

i love browsing convenience stores and supermarkets. it’s one of my favourite ways to kill time when i’m in sg, and needless to say, i carry this habit with me when i’m traveling too 😂

my mum and i stopped by familymart & 7-11 religiously every single night, and day during our taiwan trip. it’s an obsession 🤪 most of the drinks i’ve had are all pretty solid, just a little on the sweeter side - so gotta have it in moderation instead.

personal favourites:

1) chocolate milk with salt

THIS WAS SO GOOD. it’s creamy and rich. honestly thought it would be a flop then i remembered an episode from modern family when they mention how salt brings out the chocolate notes more so i decided to grab it and try 😛 it was super good!! but so hard to find in convenience stores :-(

2) watermelon milk

honestly thought it would be weird but this combi is pretty amazing 😱🤯 if they had a less sweet version it would be a staple for me!

3) honey black tea latte

i thought this would be bad because i’m not a honey person but omg. this was good!! fragrant and smooth, but mcdonald’s honey milk tea wins hands down still 😆

massive skips:

1) ucc black blue mountain blend

this was nasty, like bad. incredibly sour aftertaste and siap siap 😤 reGRETS!!

2) protein coffee milk

20g protein per serving. go for chocolate version if you really want the protein content. coffee flavour is quite weak.

still thinking about the chocolate milk with salt 😞
