Matching Tattoos w/ my Husband | A Cute Story

So my husband and I have matching tattoos. We got them in Berlin, Germany last year.

Germany was one stop of many in our very first international trip with our best friends. We wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip. We are both avid tattoo collectors so it was a natural souvenir.

Of course, we had to find a tattoo shop that would accept a walk in AND spoke English. We found this amazing shop called Berlin Ink and met so many awesome folks there. When we showed up for our appointment and they heard our accent, the receptionist at the shop said “Oh you’re the American Avocado Couple!!” They were so amazing there and made our time so fun and special.

It was a comedy of errors navigating the streets of Berlin trying to find an ATM because we realized too late we needed cash and didn’t have any euros 😂 Neither of us speak German.

It was such an amazing memory and I am so glad that we have these tattoos to remind us of one of the most times we have had in our lives this far.
