The Biggest Lessons I’ve Learned in My Marriage

My marriage is absolutely the best part of my life and my favorite part. There’s really nothing better than doing life with your best friend and knowing that you always have someone rooting for you :) Since we’re about to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and almost 10 years of being together, I thought it’d be fun to share a few things I’ve learned since getting married!

To be really honest, I think I entered my relationship and marriage with a lot of insecurity, trust issues, self-doubt, baggage, combativeness, etc. But it’s because of our faith, my husband’s patience and love towards me, and the guidance of our community of friends and trusted church leaders that our marriage is what it is now. I’m so grateful to say that both of us genuinely go to bed every night excited to spend the next day together. We rarely fight and if we do, we’re able to resolve the issue at hand super quickly because we know that at the end of the day, it’s us against the issue and not us vs. each other.
