Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam (a DIY Starbucks recipe)

Ingredients:

☕️ 8 oz coffee (recommended to use Starbucks Breakfast Blend), brewed at double strength and cooled

☕️ ¼ cup milk (recommended to use 2%)

☕️ 1 tbsp powdered sugar

☕️ ¼ tsp vanilla extract

☕️ ¾ cup ice

Instructions:

1️⃣ Make the cold foam by combining milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a pourable container. Froth milk mixture with a milk frother or by hand.

2️⃣ Pour cooled coffee over ice in a 16 oz glass.

3️⃣ Top iced coffee with cold foam.

Commentary:

Yep, just three steps. It’s really that easy.

This is a quick and simple recipe that I will definitely be making again! I used whole milk instead of 2% milk, and it still tasted great. I usually like having vanilla oat milk with my iced coffee so I might froth that next time instead, and in that instance, I wouldn’t really need to add powdered sugar or vanilla extract. I also had some leftover toasted vanilla syrup in my fridge from a different DIY Starbucks recipe (you can find that on my page 😏), so I put a couple tablespoons of that in and it really elevated the drink!
