foodie reviews: Italian steak restaurant in SG✨

my bf brought me to Griglia Open Fire Italian Kitchen for my birthday and all the dishes were amazing😋

My review📝

🍝 The Pappardelle ($32) pasta was cooked al dente with the perfect bite and chewiness. The pork was slow-cooked, tender and the sauce tied the whole dish together.

🍅 To my surprise, the Sicilian Tomatoes ($19) didn’t just taste like ordinary tomatoes. I’m not sure what the chef did, but adding the different herbs and crumbs of ricotta cheese gave the dish an extra dimension and slight crunch to the dish which I loved.

🥩 Last but not least, the Bone-in Angus Striploin ($88) - the star of the show. There was a nice char on the outside while the meat remained extra tender and juicy. The seasoning was just right and we were served various sauces to pair with the steak. The steak main also came with premium side dishes - baby romaine lettuce & roasted potatoes.

Although the menu is definitely on the pricier side, I found it more affordable compared to other *atas* steak restaurants in SG. I also liked that they grilled the meats over an open fire, which gave the steaks more char and flavour. Definitely recommend Griglia for a birthday or anniversary date celebration🎉
