do & don’ts: blind pimples ✨

remember pimples make us human, they’re inevitable. You’re still beautiful with or without pimples, and they don’t define you 💗

As you can see I am currently dealing with one right in the middle of my face, but no fear, here are my dos and don’ts of tackling blind (cystic) pimples.

We all know them, but we def don’t love them…the painful, deep, pimples that form around that time of the month 🥲 I know how badly we want to squeeze them and make them go away, but they’re pesky and like to take their time forming and healing. Here are some dos and don’ts for helping speed up the process a little bit!

Do:

1. Apply spot treatment with 2% or more benzoyl peroxide. I use the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo.

2. Apply pimple patches, once it forms a bit of a head. I use the hero patches and peach slices microdart patches.

3. Apply hot compress to draw a head and ice to help inflammation and pain

Don’t:

1. Touch the pimple

2. Try to squeeze the pimple, it’ll make it worse 😩
