Soooo since I’ve moved to Miami, I accidentally started to cut, lose puffiness/inflammation and i’m assuming ended up shedding off a few pounds (“assuming” because i refuse to weigh myself and don’t own a scale as a protective measure for my mental well being) ✨ with that said, i started thinking about what small lifestyle changes i’ve made in the last 6 months-year and it really only came down to these 4 things:

1. Increased daily step count (i always like to do light cardio after my lifts but in addition to that and as a result of moving to miami, i’ve been walking literally EVERYWHERE from my nail appts to the grocery store) 🍓🫐

2. Bought a water ionizer machine (easily the best investment i’ve ever made. $5,000, lasts 25 years, worth every cent. lowered inflammation/puffiness, hydrates me 50x faster than regular water, and speeds up muscle recovery🙌 if you want to know how to get one in your home, message me i can help hehe🥰)

3. Increased protein intake (by A LOT! I love frontloading with protein in the morning for breakfast… makes it so much easier to meet my protein goal at the end of the day 🍳)

4. Yoga nidra/meditation (simple, mindfulness practices like yoga nidra/meditation have made such a profound impact on my fitness and overall wellness journey!🧘‍♀️a key contributor to weight gain/inflammation is high cortisol!!! putting the effort in to get my stress levels under control ended up making the biggest difference🙌)
