Say “NO” to hot mess motherhood

Being a mom is hard! However, we don’t need to feel or be messy!! Let’s encourage ourselves to have a system in order so we can thrive in our roles. Here’s three things I do as a mom of four to keep myself and the house in order. I tend to feel more sane when the house is a little tidy and I feel ready to take on the day…

1) Make the bed 🛌

2) One load of laundry a day

3) 5 min make up routine! 💄a little mascara and concealer makes the world of difference. Plus it teaches our daughters that it’s good to take care of ourselves and not selfish!!

Do you already do any of these?

pro tip: if a task only takes 2 mins just do it! For instance, after a meal, bring the dishes to the sink! Wipe the counters. This helps so the house doesn’t feel chaotic during the day!

🙈 and to be completely transparent, some days I don’t get around to all these! That’s okay. I don’t beat myself up about it cuz there’s no such thing as perfect motherhood.
