🚊 Get around by train - All journeys by train in Cinque Terre cost 5€/ticket. Instead of paying per ticket, you can buy the Cinque Terre card and get unlimited train rides + access to the hiking trails.

🌞 Sunrise time is your best friend - Visit the towns early in the morning for less crowds. By 10 am, most places are already packed!

👙 Be prepared to swim - Bring a swimsuit & towel in your bag to enjoy a swim. In the summer, the heat is brutal, but it’s possible to swim in most of the towns!

🌊 Plan ahead - Make a reservation the day prior for an umbrella + chairs in Monterosso al Mare. Be sure to specify which row you prefer.

🍝 Base yourself in Levanto for the perfect starting point to visit all 5 towns & save lots of money on your hotel or Airbnb! There are also a couple of campgrounds there with parking for vans and RVs if you’re traveling that way.
