Add These Date Night Spots to Your Checklist!

Wondering where you could bring your partner to a fancy & romantic dinner?

Here are my favourite spots!

1. Boeuf ($100+)

- Affordable steak place if you choose the right dishes!

- Beef was so good, chewy, tender and flavourful (especially, eating it with the garlic)

- Wagyu is a must try!

- Fries were golden brown, thick, crispy and soft (just the right texture)

- Overall: 8.5/10

2. Merci Marcel ($80+)

- Marcel Cheese (7/10) ; cheese of your choice, comes with bread, Beillevaire butter, and homemade chutney (sweet & tangy condiment), would recommend it as a side!

- Ravioles de Royana (10/10) ; French dumpling pasta filled with cheese & spinach, foie gras emulsion, hazelnuts. This is such bomb and it was really really good. Soft and rich in flavour!

- Crème Brûlée (8/10) ; custard was smooth and rich, caramel had a nice touch of crispness but can be quite sweet after a few bites.

- Overall: 9/10

3. La Nonna ($60+)

- Weekday Lunch Special

- Taglierini Al Tartufo (8/10), quite earthy, savoury and creamy! The black truffle is also quite fragrant

- La Nonna Pizza (8/10); black truffle paste is very rich in flavour, crispy and thin, cheese is also not so overwhelming!

- Portion can fit two people especially if you’re ordering other dishes!

- Overall: 8/10

4. Jypsy ($100+)

- Ika Pizza (7/10), quite filling and bread is fluffy, everything blends well especially with the bonito flakes!

- Crispy Calamari (7/10); cripsy and light! Very flavourful and kept eating it, tangy and delicious along with the lime.

- Nest of Fries (4/10); This dish was quite blend to me although it is their house signature. Not that crispy and the texture was just soft. The wasabi mayonnaise slaps tho!

- Soft Shell Chilli Crab Roll (5/10); it tasted ok, the sushi was fresh, but the flavour was also bland. Their chilli sauce slaps again tho HAHA.

- Overall: 6/10 (would recommend here for the dinning view but food is so far! Would come here again to try other dishes!)
