WHAT IM USING FOR MY WAVY HAIR THIS SUMMER

Okay I was finally convinced to try and wear my natural hair this summer after seeing so many people post videos on their curly & wavy hair! I went to the beach this summer and my hair air dried everyday and it was super wavy with some curls and I was like ?!!!!! I hadn’t let my hair air dry in SO long I had no clue! So here’s what I’m using!

- kenra curl defining creme: right out of the shower when my hair is still wet I evenly distribute this all throughout my hair and then scrunch it with my hands! Ensure you scrunch all the way to the root to keep volume!

- she’s moisture coconut hibiscus frizz free curl mousse: this stuff not only smells AMAZING but also helps keep the frizz down!! After I apply and scrunch in my curl cream i gently scrunch this in all over my head! Don’t rake your fingers through and break up the waves/curls!

- lastly diffuse!! I start on a low setting around the roots to get out the moisture and prevent my hair weighing it down and losing volume. Then I will gently flip my hair side to side and diffuse! I hold the diffuser in the same area for quite a few seconds, slow and steady!! I will diffuse till it is barely damp and then let it finish air drying!

I definitely need to keep practicing and get even better but so far I’ve been loving my natural hair!! So easy for summer which we love!
