This has become my new favorite use for my sourdough discard. It’s quick, simple, and delicious. #recipeideas #sourdoughrecipe
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. Melt butter in microwave safe dish. Add sourdough discard and salt. Mix well.
3. Lay a piece of parchment paper on a large baking sheet. Pour the mixture onto the parchment paper.
4. Using a spatula, cover the baking sheet with the mixture. You want the mixture to be spread thin.
5. Add desired toppings. I’ve been adding a little more salt and shredded Parmesan cheese. Everything seasoning or even a little salt works too!
6. Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes.
7. Remove from the oven and score using a pizza cutter.
8. Place back into the oven for another 20-30 minutes. Time really depends on how thin your crackers are and the toppings. I always check after 20 and add more time if needed.
9. Enjoy! Store in an air tight container for up to a week, if you can manage to not eat them all by then!
