Water exercise has to be one of my favorite exercises of all time! There are way too many benefits to be able to clearly explain in one post, but letโ€™s go over the highlights.

Water exercise is especially good for anybody who tends to have weak joints or any type of physical issue that prevents them from doing a high impact exercise. It carries all the same benefits as any other aerobic exercise, but has an added benefit of making you less sore!

In the future, I really want to make a post where I go over each of these exercises in depth. But for now, letโ€™s look at the benefits!

Any water activity can be a low-impact exercise that has so many benefits!

Such as:

๐ŸŒŠ reducing pressure off bones, joints and muscles

๐ŸŒŠ natural resistance, which strengthens muscles

๐ŸŒŠ improved heart health due to aerobic exercise!

๐ŸŒŠ stress reduction!

๐ŸŒŠ improved muscular endurance and strength!

Itโ€™s also a great way to add physical activity or stay active, and can improve joint use

and lessen pain if you have arthritis!

There are so many different exercises you can do! If you belong to a gym that has a pool they probably have most of the equipment you would need! These are things such as pool noodles, kickboards, water weights, and webbed gloves. If you donโ€™t have access this equipment you can probably find it pretty affordable online.
