I have roughly 30 cousins, and I think family time is so important. Why?

- Your family will always be your family. It’s important to have a good relationship with them.

- Everyone has struggles, and family usually understands. If you have a rough home life (I get it) try your best to understand why everyone acts like this and have sympathy. But you also have to protect yourself from toxic behavior so don’t encourage/repeat it. (If you don’t feel safe sharing struggles with family, the next one’s for you)

- If you feel isolated, you’re not alone! Find a group of friends/cousins/coaches/teammates to claim as your “found family” and make sure you text them if you’re feeling bad. (Or message me 😀)
