💗 a reverse harem, friends-to-lovers romance rec 🤍

alright, ladies and gents. incoming with a new fav & a reverse harem rec!! it's been so long since i've read a contemporary reverse harem (i don't even think i've read a good one before) but this!!! omg i'm so going to read all of lily gold's books. i LOVE this.

please please please read this if:

• you somehow like a big, warm and funny ex-sports guy, a silver fox ex-professor and a sexy, brooding tsundere all at once like i do (the tsundere?? hello?? i've never really seen one in contemporary romance books so i'm screaming when i saw josh at first)

• you like the sound of falling in love with your neighbours/best friends

• you like reading heroines who run their small businesses like a boss

• you're afraid to love so you work on things that are much more controllable like work (this book is calling me out i swear)

• you like sweet and warm heroes <3 who also have shit they have to work on

some things i didn't like:

• i want our heroes to grovel so much more when shit hits the fan :c regardless the book IS getting pretty long when we hit the third act so i get it if the conflict resolution gotta be cut short, though would still wanna see our heroes dying inside a little longer

• the antagonists in this one are pretty one-dimensional.. i legit dk why they are acting so obnoxiously. i didn't mind much though cause the romance made the whole book really fun.

would recommend if you're looking for a fun read!!! imagining this book in my head is like disneyland. all three of the men..... scrumptious.
