You need to try this LA coffee shop

I had to kill some time in LA today and decided I’d try out a new coffee shop. I had seen these foam, creamy lattes on social media and figured I’d give it a go. I was worried it was overhyped, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Here’s what to know:

🚗Getting there:

While it’s right off Olympic Blvd in Koreatown, it can be hard to miss. When you turn onto the street from Olympic, you’ll want to pull into the parking lot to your left. Parking is also free for customers! Their sign is small so look for a black building with outdoor seating.

☕️What to order:

The Einspanner is the signature drink and why everyone goes. It’s basically a latte topped with thick, whipped cream. You can get a regular Einspanner latte or add flavor like vanilla or caramel. You can also do an Einspanner with a matcha latte. There are other drinks available if you don’t like coffee or tea, but I’d say the coffee is the reason you go. They use Stumptown coffee which is my absolute favorite.

🍩What to eat:

They have a few savory items like avocado toast as well as breakfast items like French toast sticks. That being said, you gotta skip those and go straight to the pastries. They are out of this world and super fluffy. I got the crème brûlée donut and I ended up eating the entire thing because it was that good. For next time, I would definitely split a pastry with someone if I’m also getting an Einspanner because they’re all super sweet.

🪑Where to sit:

There are a few tables and barstools inside, but you’ll find that the interior is super minimalistic. They also have outlets for anyone that wants to work there. If the weather is good, I suggest sitting outside because their patio is gorgeous, has way more seating, and is overall a better vibe imo.
