you might think i’m being dramatic here, but this is brainwashing!!! the world just wasn’t like this before social media took over. personalities have pretty much disappeared ⤵️

authenticity is so rare that we idolize digital creators who aren’t carbon copies of whatever trend is live at the moment.

language is degrading and our ability to communicate beyond memes is declining. sameness is celebrated.

the human experience is being condensed and disfigured to fit into labels so that we can all comfortably sum up a collective feeling of monotony, societal collapse, and general hopelessness when it comes to the state of the world ⤵️

we escape further into our phones, further away from ourselves, further into the brainwashing we brush off as “trends”

but do you know what YOU sound like? do you know how YOU act, what YOU like, how YOU really want to live?

or is your entire personality, direction in life, habits, language, etc rooted in repetitive phrases like these?

this is NOT a judgement, but a genuine question that i hope you ask yourself 🤍 it’s time we BE OURSELVES AGAIN!
