APARTMENT FRIENDLY + AFFORDABLE SHARK VACUUM

When I moved into my new apartment in Austin, I knew I needed a good quality vacuum at an affordable price point.

After a lot of research, I discovered the Shark Rocket Ultra-light Cordered Stick Vacuum on sale at Target. It had decent reviews and seemed to be able to do what I needed it to do, which is clean both bare floors and carpets and transform into a handheld vacuum. I was also hoping to find something that isn’t bulky, which this definitely is not!

One thing I went back and forth on was whether or not I wanted a cordless vacuum. The Shark Rocket has a cord that is extra long I can vacuum almost my entire apartment from one outlet. Ultimately, I’m happy I chose a corded vacuum because one thing I worry about with a cordless vacuum is that it will run out of battery when I want to use it and the task of charging it. Even though this vacuum is corded it’s still super lightweight and it’s super easy to store in my entryway closet.

Shark is a super reliable brand so I figured this would work out well for me. If you live in an apartment and are looking for a good-quality, affordable vacuum, I’d definitely recommend this one! Plus, it’s currently on sale at Target.
