iβm a big fan of green grapes and strawberries but i donβt reach for them at all in sg bc of the hefty price tags and the subpar quality BUT!! i stumbled upon these grapes π at a store in the new Margaret Market and gave them a try after sampling some tasty ones!
the store is called Cu.Ra.Te and they offer mainly vegetables and fruits & juicing services! their 2 for $10 Shine Muscat grapes are seedless and grown in China. this caught my attention because Shine Muscat grapes are known to be a premium fruit originating from Japan as itβs seedless, very sweet and juicy and has a crispy/crunchy texture to its thicker-than-average skin!! and so they donβt come cheap..
which is why iβm glad i bought these! my verdict is that although there are a few sour oddballs in each box, majority of them are all still very sweet and tasty π€€ would totally repurchase given the value for money!! gotta keep an eye out for strawberries the next time i visit π«£
p.s margaret market is a newly opened food market located at 38 Margaret Drive (stoneβs throw away from Queenstown MRT) that was originally a wet market! they now house various food stalls (offering western foodfare to chinese delights, acai & ice cream desserts, a bistro bar and even a korean e-mart)!
