Ingredients:
For the Cinnamon Sugar Filling:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp flour
2 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
For the Cookies:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
1 egg + 1 yolk
1 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Prepare cinnamon filling and refrigerate.
Make cookie dough. Layer and swirl cinnamon mixture into dough.
Chill dough balls for 10 minutes and bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes.
