If you’re planning on visiting Asakusa when you’re in Tokyo, here are some food reccos I have for y'all! ❤️

1. Melon Pan with Matcha Soft Serve (Kagetsudo) 🍈

This place always has a long queue but I was there when it just opened and there was only 3 people in front of me! I had their Signature Melon Pan with Matcha Soft Serve and it was SO GOOD. 🥹 The melon pan had the right amount of crunchiness and sweetness, paired with the matcha soft serve - IT WAS A PERFECT COMBI. You have to try it if you see it! They also have other soft serve flavours like Cookies & Cream.

2. Strawberry Daifuku (Kanzashi Ichigo) 🍓

This is a MUST GET if you’re in Japan and I loved how the sweet bean gave provided a hint of additional sweetness and texture. The strawberry also enhanced the overall flavour profile of the mochi. You can’t go wrong with a Strawberry Daifuku in Japan 🤤

3. Mitarashi Dango

Chanced upon the store which had a crowd inside so we decided to try the Mitarashi Dango here. It was so chewy and soft covered with a sweet sauce that had a soy sauce taste. They had a dustbin with a stick hole for people to return their sticks after they finish which I found really cool 🤣

Overall, I enjoyed everything I ate here and would highly recco y'all to try these if you ever head to Asakusa! Sadly our stomach couldn’t fit more food so we didn’t manage to try more stuffs!
