If you are heading to Bangkok this December, here are some cheap food that you should definitely try when you’re there if you love cheap thrills like me 🥰
1. $2 Thai Milk Tea from ChaTraMue
Get your Thai Milk Tea/Thai Green Milk Green Tea fix from the famous ChaTraMue! Love how the sugar level and ice level is customisable, since people in Thailand generally add alot of sugar in their drinks/food. We had some thai milk tea from the street stalls and almost died from diabetes 🥲
2. $1.50 Toasted Sandwich from 7-11
Thailand’s 7-11 CANNOT be compared to Singapore’s at all. I was shocked at the wide array of food they have and tried their toasted sandwiches after seeing many reviews online! The Ham & Cheese Sandwich Croissant definitely was the highlight, loved how the 7-11 staff would toast these sandwiches for us and place them in a paper bag for us to have them fresh! Super worth the price and a must-try when you’re in BKK. 🤭
3. $2.50 Sweet/Savoury Crepes
There are plenty of crepe stalls in Thailand, and I always satisfy my crepe cravings when I’m there! 🥹 Love how they are usually super generous with their ingredients and my go-to order is a choco banana crepe 🍌🍫
4. $1 Mochi Donuts from Mister Donut
We screamed when we saw Mister Donut at the basement of Platinum Mall - since we didnt manage to get it in SG because of the 3-4hr queue 😅 The Chewy Pon De Ring Mochi Glazed Donut was the highlight - loved the sugar coating and how chewy the donut was! Even though, we wouldnt queue more than 15mins for this HAHAHA There was no queue there and it was only $1SGD per donut 🥹
Overall, Bangkok is truly a food heaven with affordable food that are both of quality and quantity too~
