How I treat my horses abscess

Jazzys abscess has since popped and she’s all back to normal now! It took a little longer than I had hoped with 7 days of treatment. Abscess are very hot and painful for horses caused by (not always but for jazzys case) all the recent rain her hooves have been exposed to. I gave her bute recommended by my vet to alleviate her pain.
