DIY Beadboard

This project was a lot faster and simpler than I imagined in my head. Before this I had zero hands on experience and relied on YouTube and Pinterest for inspiration. If I can do it, you can too!

I would say there are a few things I would do differently:

•I would definitely do the 1x6 board for the shelf so that I could hold bigger bowls and things.

•I tried to go into this project just me however, having 2 people is important when attaching the bead board (especially if you are using more glue than nails). This is for both safety and stability so there’s no gaps and the board doesn’t come unattached.

•My husband sanded the edges of the board a bit and that helped them to fit flush to the wall corners.
