📍Crossroots Restaurant

my bf found this place and since it was nearby, we decided to give it a try, and NO REGRETS 😮‍💨

it’s about a 10min walk away from upper thomson mrt, it is really super hidden and plus point is that it only opened recently so not many people know about them (yet) - we were able to do a walk-in on a friday night 😙

the vibes of the restaurant was super cozy, but it is a little noisy due to the restaurant being on the smaller side - not great for first dates 💔

appetiser:

🐟 salmon lox, 7/10

honestly we had no idea what this was, but when it arrived, it looked absolutely amazing 🤩 it was so good but it was a bit difficult to eat cause the bites are quite big, and towards the end it did get a bit overwhelming too 🫡

mains:

🐷 pork welly, 8/10

i don’t really like pork and i have eaten beef wellington before, which i didn’t really like so i was surprised to find myself enjoying this 😋 the pork didn’t have the gamey taste and it was super soft too! they even had tiny apple balls LOL

🐮 flat iron steak, 8/10

perfectly seasoned 🧂 but you need to eat this quick because once it’s cold, it gets quite tough and hard to chew

dessert:

🍮 hazelnut tiramisu, 10/10

the BEST tiramisu i have ever had, tbh i have been asking my bf to go back every day for it since the day we had it 🥹🥹🥹 it was packed with so much flavour but it was not heavy at all, say so much now my mouth also watering already…

drink:

🍸 mojito, 7/10

pretty normal

🍸 espresso martini, 9/10

it was so TASTY i almost downed the whole thing within 10 minutes because i could not stop drinking it

our total bill was only $60+⁉️ right now they’re having a promo where you get 20% off with min. spend of $50 (until 6 oct)

overall, i will be returning here with my friends and family 😇 it’s amazing and worth my $$$
