I don’t even know where to start with this one! So I go into books blind because it’s more fun haha right? This book came up on my dark romance recommendations and by the cover it looks like a romance right? Well I guess it’s an unconventional romance… is that even a thing?? I mean I didn’t hate it 🫣

Here we follow Kayla, she experiences a loss and weird things start to happen at her house but is it all in her head because she’s not sleeping? Or is something more going on? She lives in a older house and it needs some repairs-insert a very broody Aiden- he comes to give her a quote and ends up firing him the next day because she didn’t like his vibe. She ends up running into him in town and one things leads to another.. ya know😜

BUT the ending!!! WTF🤯 I knew there was a twist but I didn’t expect that.
