If you’re getting into photography, here’s a super simple thing you can change to make your life easier…

Shoot your photos raw!

It’s a super easy change, google it for your specific camera.

When this setting is on, your camera will produce a regular jpg file and a raw file (CR2 for cannon). The raw file will take up more space but it will provide you with so much more information, that will be a total game changer when you go to edit… which you should always edit!

If you don’t know how to edit photos, go ahead and play with the program anyway. Two great setting to get started with are highlights and shadows!
