How to style a dresser

Styling a dresser is a great way to bring some elements to your room that express your style.

One big thing that I have learned over the years as I have practiced and researched design is that the scale of your decor is so important. This means that you want to choose items that properly fit the space and are pleasing to the eye.

We have a long dresser so I knew I needed some bigger items that would make a statement and fill the space without making it crowded. Using a big pot or vase with some stems in it is a great way to do this.

I added the lamp to help bring warmth and height to the space.

The storage box was a way for me to add texture but also include functionality as I can store items inside of it.

Finally adding layering with picture frames and other decorative objects really help complete the space and make it feel grounded and intentional.
