VIETNAM TRIP: what to eat in Ho Chi Minh 🇻🇳

if you're going to plan travelling to Ho Chi Minh but not sure where to eat, must save this baee 😋 I will share some of good food for you all hehe

📍𝐩𝐡𝐨 𝟐𝟒 - 𝟏𝟓𝟖𝐃 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐫, 𝐁𝐞𝐧 𝐍𝐠𝐡𝐞, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝟏

💰𝟒𝟎𝐤-𝟕𝟎𝐤 𝐯𝐧𝐝

pho 24 is a mixture of 24 special ingredients, the broth is cooked in 24 hours. i chose a “phở tái” sliced beef. enjoying a bowl of hot pho with a mild sweet broth from bone, not too savoury and non-fat. beef is cut into thin slices. but i think it’s too thin 🥹 so i feel not enough for me. put a bit pepper together, it’s perfect.

i love it. im sure that when you take a sip of the broth 🫢 you will feel the tastes of all ingredients are in perfect harmony. It has a delicate taste and smells so good. the broth is rich and flavourful. i ate “phở tái” sliced rare beef tenderloin with extra a bit fatty broth. 😍😍 IT WAS SO DELICIOUS !!

*note: idk why or maybe depend on which outlet but i always feel the broth when i eat in the afternoon or evening better than the broth in the morning.

next one is pizza 4P’s 👀👀 OMGGG I didn’t expect that it’s so popular for foreigners. BUT IT’S TRUTH 🫢 you must visit this Italian restaurant, won’t regret. this place needs no word, you can easy to find so many good reviews about quality of food including service and friendly staff. the price is a bit higher compared to food in Vietnam but it’s still a affordable restaurants with fancy interior, classy and refined setting.

👉🏻 about food: highly recommend cheese pizza here 😋 you can choose and match two flavours on one pizza, giving us the opportunity to savour different tastes. another flavours i think must try are chicken and beef. IT’S All AMAZINGGG 💛💛 i had the crab tomato cream spaghetti with ricotta cheese 🦀 almost everyone will order this when they come. to my experience, it’s a bit bland for me who has bold taste when i tried in the first time. but after a few time i ate, now i feel IT’S SO YUMMY 🥹 miss this crab spaghetti a lot !!

this is a authentic barbecue restaurant. a lot of foreigners visit 5Ku Station for drinking with variety grill food. when i came, it was so crowded even outside or inside. but i didn’t need to wait because there are a lot of seats.

what i ordered

•beef, octopus, shrimp: you cook it yourself by charcoal grills same my 5th pic. it’s quite interesting but a bit long time for me 🥲 im not patient LOL btw the food was good. i recommend beef here

•grilled oyster: must try if you’re a fan of oyster like me

•fried noodles with beef: before drinking you should eat main dish and this is indispensable. but i recommend you order fried noodle with seafood instead. it’s more tastier.

👉🏻 overall, the price is a bit higher for barbecue in Vietnam but it’s still worth it. the atmosphere is supper bustle. it’s suitable for the group who enjoy rowdy and drinking then you can order more food to share, it will be more worth.

this restaurant has opened since 2022. it attracts many people because of good food and service although of short active time. the signature here is their beef 🐮🧈 with special sauces make the taste more mouth-watering. only first bite, i feel it’s so juicy and tender. recommend combo sauces includes cheese sauce, salt egg sauce, mushroom pepper sauce .

•a piece of steak is around 𝟏𝟗𝟓𝐤-𝟐𝟖𝟓𝐤 𝐯𝐧𝐝

•grilled pork breast chao is 𝟏𝟒𝟓𝐤 𝐯𝐧𝐝

•appetiser and dessert are affordable price

i think a bit expensive for just a 🥩 but trust me IT’S SO DELICIOUS 🥹🤤 i wasn’t really full so i ordered some breads to eat tgt. MUST TRY !! 😝

i think this is one of the most affordable local market. everything is gathered in a built-up area. people were quite kind and friendly when i came. there has different stalls, almost is familiar local food 😍: bún bò, bánh canh, nem nướng, bánh bèo, bún mắm… from 35k vnd + and flan pudding 🍮 i went to this market last day because we spent over budget 🥲 the local food is good and cheap. we are satisfied with it 👍🏻

i want to introduce a place that you can get a authentic egg coffee in Ho Chi Minh ♥ this is a cup of rich flavor piping hot drink and known as a special drink from Hanoi in which creamy soft and meringue-like egg white foam is perched on dense Vietnamese coffee. it made from the simplest ingredients such as fresh egg, sugar, condensed milk and coffee powder. the drink has creamy balanced sweet flavor without any fishy taste of raw egg yolk so don’t worry ☕️✨

Topping Beef well represents a place which serves fresh and high quality steak 🐮 this is a western restaurant that specializes in 100% premium beef from the US and Australia 💯💯 i ordered ribeye hokubee 300g - medium well and pepper sauce. it came with a big chunky piece of steak. it was cooked to perfection. my steak is so juicy and soft inside 😍🤤 because of the sauce, it was bursting with flavor and was incredibly excellent. the steak was paired with fresh vegetable 🥙 really tasty.

👉🏻 on top of that, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere during dinner was also great ✨ the ambiance is pretty classy and elegant makes Topping Beef is especially suitable for perfect romantic dates or any special occasions. i would highly recommend 🫶🏻🐮

👉🏻 a plus point is that the price is quite reasonable compared to other high-end beefsteak restaurants in Hcm that makes it worth visiting.
