When you think of movement, do you think of running on a treadmill, or lifting at the gym? Because that's where my mind goes most of the time.
But since learning there are many ways to move a body that don't involve going to a gym, I've been better off for it. For ADHDers especially, pulling and pushing heavy things can be beneficial - it's a strategy I use with my AuDHD kids.
Of course, you can do this at the gym. But you can also do this by going outside and building something or tearing that same thing down. You can also do something as simple as rearrange your furniture and get the same benefits.
