Inspired from internal events right now 👀

Hi 👋, I’m feeling very inspired right now as I’m in the office. For context, I work in a corporate in CBD area, where people are usually dressed up in formal wear.

Here are the 5 things I find annoying about the internal happenings:

1️⃣ Overhearing too much - People who don’t find a phone booth or meeting room to conduct their calls. Considering that it’s an open concept office so everyone can hear your call and it’s not very considerate. 🙃

2️⃣ Not closing the door to the office work area (separated from pantry) after exiting or going out because it’s pretty noisy in the pantry. Again, not very considerate behaviour.

3️⃣ Booking of meeting rooms w/o using it - I don’t understand why do people book meeting rooms and not show up in the room or even so, not cancel the meeting?? And we ended up having to take meetings at weird places because of such behaviour.

4️⃣ Overly informal dressing - (this may be a bit subjective) I understand that there are days you might want to underdress a little, but I think there’s a limit to how you should underdress? Idk I wouldn’t imagine seeing overly short skirt to an office or like an overly revealing top because it doesn’t seem too professional like sis you’re not here to party 😩

5️⃣ Not clearing out after you’re done - So our office adopts a hot-desking concept where no one has a fixed desk. And because of that, it’s pretty annoying when the person using the desk before you don’t clean up and leaves an empty drink can on your desk.
