For when you're depressed

The Bible has many verses for depression. Right now going through separation from my husband has been tough on my soul. I am trying to be positive and patient but it has been extremely hard for me. I know the Lord has something positive in store for me as well as you!

Psalm 42 is when David had just been exiled and he was on the run for his life. He had fallen into depression and was crying out to God. I encourage you to go read this chapter. It is not long at all but encouraging.

If you are going through this. Let's push through this together and encourage one another daily! As I say a prayer for my (at the moment) husband I will say one for you as well!

God, I pray that you uplift my husband today. I pray you encourage him to lean on you Lord for everything. Soften his heart towards me and open his eyes so that he may see you more, and see you in me Lord. Lord you stand above it all! Remind him of the good times we had together and not the bad. God help me to see the positives in everyday and to be patient. I know that you have something good planned in my future! Lord I will hope and be patiently waiting on you. Thank you for all that you have done for me and given me in my life. Forgive me of all my sins. Amen
