Ingredients:
4 oz Feta cheese
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ tsp minced garlic
½ teaspoon par dried basil
¼ cup honey/or less
1 Tbsp chopped pistachios
1 teaspoon finely chopped chives
½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
Instructions:
1) combine feta, cream cheese and olive oil until cheese are combined and smooth. Then add basil and garlic, and mix until just combined
2) Scoop cheese out of the food processor onto a small plate or into a shallow bowl. Use a large spoon to create a shallow well in the center of the cheese. Fill the well with honey. (Note: less is more when it comes to honey, you can always add more) Garnish the sides of the well with chives, pistachios and black pepper.
3) Serve immediately with warm pieces of pita bread, fruit (fresh/dried) or crackers.
