Everything you NEED to know about Discord! 👾

When I first downloaded Discord in 2020, I was soooo confused by what was going on and everything seemed so complicated. I was so intimidated by all of the different things going on that I was too nervous to actually use it.

I’m no discord expert, but I know a lot more than I did initially 😅

I included some screenshots from my own Discord so that I don’t describe things too poorly.

I actually used a sample server I created a long time ago. Creating a server definitely gave me a better idea on how Discord works and how best to navigate it so even if you’re just making a server for you and your friends, it’s a great way to learn more about how everything works!

***also I did not mention it above but if you make your own server and end up using special characters like I did, it may not be accessible to those with visual impairments. I created the server for practice so that was not a necessary concern***
