All the Light We Cannot See ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A very beautifully written story that takes place in France during with WWII. The main character, Marie-Laure, is blind and goes with her father to live with her reclusive uncle. There is a side story about a powerful gem, but overall it’s about the decisions people make as well as maintaining hope and resistance over adversity.

This book is different than what I would normally read, but I liked it. It was fast, descriptive and it transports you to a difficult time and shows you the sacrifices people made during WWII without being too upsetting.
