what to wear to a pumpkin patch 🎃

Fall is officially here as of today! I got to go to my first pumpkin patch of the season last night and I was so excited! Here's what I wore to give you inspo:

It was rainy and I knew it would be muddy, so I had to change my original outfit idea to be built off of my Hunter rain boots, I've had these since 2012 and they're still in amazing shape!

To bring out the gray, I decided I needed a pop of gray elsewhere in my outfit. More on that in a second!

I thought a dress would look best with the tall boots, especially because it was hot and humid. I wanted to look like I was in a fall outfit but didn't want to be sweaty! I decided to do my free people shirt dress which is super comfy and lightweight.

I then remembered I had a gray cardigan I could wear over my shoulders for the pop of gray I was wanting!

I debated whether or not I should put my hair up or down with the rain but ultimately decided to go with my puffy Amazon headband to sort of control my hair in the humidity but also allow for the overall look I was going for.

I finished it off with my vintage coach bag which has both black and gray in it! It also was roomy enough so I could carry all the tickets I'd need for the various activities at the pumpkin patch.
